The Spartan Kids Foundation strives to provide extraordinary experiences to underserved and challenged youth so as to promote healthy and active lifestyles.

With the support of the Spartan community, the Spartan Kids Foundation provides grants and curriculum in support of schools and youth organizations’ efforts to encourage healthy lifestyles among their students and community. Spartan Kids Foundation also works to give free access to Spartan events and kids races for students at partner schools and youth organizations, providing a unique opportunity for these youth to demonstrate their strength, resiliency, and team work.

Reaching Students Where They Are

The Spartan Kids Foundation looks to establish robust partnerships with schools and youth organizations across the US. Through the Spartan Kids Foundation Fitness Grant Program, the Foundation supports schools and youth organizations in promoting programs that help encourage and support physical fitness education and healthy lifestyles.

The Spartan Kids Foundation runs regional grant programs throughout the year. Schools from grades kindergarten through 12 within each region are invited to apply for $500 grants to support their fitness efforts. Local youth organizations are invited to apply as well. Spartan Kids Foundation encourages and seeks partners with creative ideas designed to best engage students in sports and fitness activities. Grants have been used for a wide range of programs such as equipment for a soccer field, juggling instruction, yoga mats, and playground supplies. Grants can also be utilized for coaching programs on site.
